My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, adjusting to life transitions, career issues, stress management, relationship/family concerns, self-esteem, women’s issues, identity concerns, and multicultural/diversity factors. I have specialized training, and several years of clinical experience, in pregnancy, the postpartum period, and adjusting to parenthood. I am an Adjunct Medical Staff in the Perinatal Mental Health Program in the Department of Psychiatry at Children's Hospital Colorado, and am also a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI) where I have completed the certificate training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD). In addition, I have significant experience working with undergraduate and graduate students and am aware of the unique life-span and academic issues that come up in their lives.
